As we reach the end of yet another week in lockdown (was this week eight? Or nine?), we’ve come to the conclusion that something needs to be done to transform our weekends.
So far, they’ve felt less like a much-deserved, fun-filled destination at the end of a long week, and more like a fairly ‘meh’ bridge joining one chunk of time spent working at the dining table to the next. Occasionally we’ll while away the time with a good series – Normal People we’re looking at you – or a fun new recipe, but otherwise they’ve served as little more than breathing space before another five days of WFH.
