We’re just two weeks into the new year, and Net-a-Porter has already got off on a pretty good foot. At the beginning of the week, they added 27 beauty brands to their Net Sustain edit for the first time ever. As if we needed another reason to love them.
The Net Sustain programme launched back in 2019, and in short, it makes accessing considered fashion (and now beauty – yay!) a whole lot easier. It’s an edit of brands who are meeting certain criteria when it comes to sustainability, and who are setting a good example to the rest of their industry.
Historically, it has been pretty tricky to know what constitutes ‘clean’. And to know which brands are actually doing their bit. Standards are often set by the brands themselves… so this is where Net-a-Porter comes in.
